2009 SDCCU Poinsettia Bowl Tickets on Sale to General Public

Image Tickets for the 5th annual San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl go on sale to the general public Friday, June 26th at 10 a.m. Ticket prices range from $28 to $50 and can be purchased through the bowl’s ticket office at Qualcomm Stadium – Gate A, or by calling (619) 285-5039. Tickets also can be purchased on-line at www.PoinsettiaBowl.com, through TicketMaster at (619) 220-TIXS, or at any TicketMaster outlet.

The San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl kicks off at 5 p.m., Wednesday, December 23rd at Qualcomm Stadium. The game pits a team from the Mountain West Conference against a bowl-eligible Pac-10 team or a school from the Western Athletic Conference. The 4th annual game featured a 17-16 TCU Horned Frogs victory over the previously unbeaten Boise State Broncos in front of 34,628 fans and an ESPN national television audience.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego is the bowl’s beneficiary. From each game ticket sold $1 will go to the charity.
