The San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl and Kaiser
Permanente have teamed up with NCAA Football to host a free football
clinic for youth aged 6-14 on Saturday, July 30th
Due to heavy rains during bowl week for the 2010 San Diego
County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl, Team Day at the San Diego
Zoo for the San Diego State Aztecs' football team was cancelled.
The San Diego Bowl Game Association’s board of directors has elected
Chuck Wasker president of the 2011 Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl
and San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.
San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl officials announced today
that the 7th annual San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl will
kick off at 5 p.m. PST on Wednesday, December 21st at Qualcomm Stadium.
Running back Ronnie Hillman rushed for 228 yards and 3 TD's, and caught another TD pass in the San Diego State Aztecs' 35-14 victory over the U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen in the 6th annual San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.
“The San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl will kick
off as scheduled at 5:06 p.m., Thursday, December 23rd. City of San
Diego and bowl officials are working together to insure the field will
be ready for play.
With 14,000 spaces for 66,000 seats at Qualcomm Stadium, the parking lot
is expected to be full one to two hours before Thursday’s San Diego
County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.
Thanks in large part to Kaiser Permanente, 500 Make-A-Wish
Foundation of San Diego representatives will enjoy a memorable evening
at the 2010 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.
