Congratulations to the winners of Saturday’s Punt, Pass and Kick Contest - sponsored by the San Diego Chargers. The event was held as part of the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl’s second annual NCAA Football Youth Clinic – sponsored by Kaiser Permanente.

Winners will receive two tickets to the 2011 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl. The game kicks off at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21st and features teams from the Mountain West and Western Athletic Conference.

Each of the three divisions was competitive, with winners edging their nearest competitors by just a foot or two.

In the 5-7 years division, John Laidlaw from Encinitas won with a total distance of 183-feet. In the 8-10 years division, the winner was Danny Kier from Descanso. His distance was 201-feet. With a distance of 306-feet, Joseph Duran from San Diego took the championship in the 11-12 years division. In the 13-14 years division, Zac Fletcher from Escondido won with a distance of 330-feet.
